INSTRUCTIONAL CAPILLRAY PRESSURE SYSTEM
INSTRUCTIONAL CAPILLRAY PRESSURE SYSTEM

MODEL: TGC-764

MANUFACTURER: CORETEST SYSTEMS, INC.

OVERVEW:
The TGC-764 Instructional Capillary Pressure System offers a teaching level instrument for the determination of capillary pressure curves through the desaturation of multiple or single core samples by the porous plate method at pressures up to 200 psi. The measured data can be utilized to calculate capillary pressure versus saturation curves and tabular data, height above free water zone, pore size distribution, and water cut versus height. When used in conjunction with electrical property measurements this data can be used to calibrate wireline log data. The data can also be utilized to aid in the determination of wettability and relative permeability characteristics. A spreadsheet is included along with manual data sheets for data collection and calculation. Two optional desaturation cells are offered for different size samples. Both of them will accept standard 10-inch ceramic porous plates of 1-15 bar pressure rating, and will work with air pressures up to 200 psi. The TGC-764 pressure monitoring and control panel utilizes dual pressure gauge transducers (0-30 and 0-300 psi) which have digital LCD displays. A humidifier vessel is included.
